Anonymous asked: Hey! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE your drawings!! I wish I could draw, what kind of tablet do you use?, I'm sorry I'm new at this, Thanks!
Thanks! I’m so glad people are enjoying my sketches. :D
If you feel you can’t draw well now, you can always learn! It’s an acquired skill that takes practice, but I believe than anyone can learn to do it. It’s a bit of a learning black-hole, though…most artists never feel like they know enough, but it is definitely an enjoyable activity.
I use a cheapo little Wacom Bamboo that was around $60. The software that I prefer to sketch with is an open source program called MyPaint. It has this nifty little feature—unlimited canvas size—that I love. You can just sit there and draw and draw and never run out of space.
If you’re just starting out with drawing, though, I’d recommend drawing on paper at first. I’ve heard drawing with a tablet is actually more difficult and harder to get used to than drawing straight onto a piece of paper. It really is your choice, though…there is a lot of freedom that comes with drawing using a computer! You never have to buy paper! (And also CTRL+Z) Yaaaaaaaaaaaynokillingtreesandsavingmoney!
